Why We Want You

If you live your life and you wish to make a difference, come and support us in the protection and conservation of the amazing wetland of "Agra - Vritta - Nisi". Volunteering in Vritta is very interesting because every day you deal with different conservation aspect of the wetland: from bird monitoring and conservation activities to eco - touristic infrastructures maintenance and public awareness activities.

What's In It For You

  • gain experience in the protection and conservation of endangered species and protected areas, especially in the birdsĪ† monitoring
  • acquire knowledge and experience in environmental awareness and education on the field
  • ) cooperate with other people who share the same passion in an international environment in a beautiful village (possibility recommendation letters from H.O.S.)

The Skills You Need

Willingness to participate, team spirit, consistency, love for nature and perhaps basic knowledge of birds

Your time:

When

All year long

Commitment

2 weeks minimum during summer or a weekend during spring, autumn and winter. 3- 6 months for foreigner volunteers through the E.U. Projects

Notes

Appropriate training is provided, as well as assistance on a permanent basis by H.O.S. stuff. Accommodation provided. Cost for participation in summer: 30 € for members, 60 € for non-members
