In the framework of the NorGreck Project, the Environmental Education Department of the Hellenic Ornithological Society/BirdLife Greece has produced a series of educational materials for the Lesser White-fronted Goose in English, Norwegian, Russian and Farsi in order to promote the conservation of the species in Norway, Russia, Iran and also elsewhere.

The "A. Tritsis" Environmental Education & Sensitization Park is expanded to 900 acres and is one of the last refugees of wildlife in the Athens urban environment. The lakes are the predominant element of the landscape, surrounded by various types of fauna.
