Site Description
A rugged limestone mountain with many inaccessible rocky slopes. Limited fir Abies forests cover the northern and southern parts of the site. The human presence is low and the main activity is stock-raising.

Habitats: Coastline/rocky areas (Inland cliffs; Scree and boulders), Forest (Native coniferous woodland; Treeline ecotone), Shrubland (Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)

Land use: agriculture, not utilised

950ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Doxara- Koriza/Kalentzi- Drosia- Spartia, 950ha).

This is an important area for raptors and alpine species.
