Site Description
A spring-fed wetland dominated by reedbeds ( Phragmites ) and surrounded by arable agriculture.

Habitats: Artificial landscapes (10%, Arable land; Forestry plantations), Forest (5%, Alluvial and very wet forest), Grassland (20%, Humid grasslands), Shrubland (5%, Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis), Wetland (65%, Rivers and streams; Standing freshwater; Water fringe vegetation)

Land use: agriculture (20%), fisheries/aquaculture, tourism/recreation (5%), water management (90%)

Birds
The site is important for species breeding in reedbeds and passage waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca.
