Site Description
An area of arable agriculture and villages around the town of Tyrnavos.

Habitats: Artificial landscapes (95%, Arable land; Other urban and industrial areas), Shrubland (5%, Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)
Land use: agriculture (95%), urban/industrial/transport (5%)

Protection status
National Partial International None
Part of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Kladaries- Tripimeno- Magoula Samari, 1,800ha).

The site is important for species associated with arable agriculture.

Conservation issues
