Site Description
A river delta on Crete with a mix of grassland, sand-dunes and scrub.

Habitats: Artificial landscapes (10%, Other urban and industrial areas), Grassland (40%, Mesophile grasslands; Steppes and dry calcareous grassland), Sea/marine area (5%, Sea inlets and coastal features), Wetland (45%, Rivers and streams; Salt marshes; Sand dunes and beaches; Tidal rivers and enclosed tidal waters; Water fringe vegetation)

Land use: agriculture (70%), urban/industrial/transport (10%)
