Site Description
A steep rocky gorge with slopes covered with phrygana. The main human activity is stock-raising.

Habitats: Coastline/rocky areas (90%, Inland cliffs), Shrubland (30%, Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)
Land use: agriculture (20%), not utilised (80%), tourism/recreation (10%)

Protection status
National Partial International None
Part of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Vrysinas/Armenon- Kareendash Seliou- Prasson, 1,700ha).975 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) PRASIANO FARAGGI(GR4330008).

This site is important for breeding raptors.
