Site Description
A rugged mountain covered with phrygana and rocky sites. The main human activity is livestock-farming.

Land use: agriculture (70%), not utilised (30%)

4680 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) FARAGGI KALLIKRATIS-ARGOYLIANO FARAGGI-OROPEDIO MANIKA(GR4340019).
Birds
This is an important site for raptors and species occurring in scrub.

Conservation issues
The main threat is from the high grazing pressure and anthropogenic fires. Part of the area is a candidate SAC.
