Site Description
A rocky peninsula with phrygana and sea cliffs, and four islands.

Habitats: Coastline/rocky areas (5%, Inland cliffs; Sea cliffs and rocky shores), Sea/marine area (10%, Sea inlets and coastal features), Shrubland (85%, Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)
Land use: agriculture (75%), fisheries/aquaculture (10%), tourism/recreation, urban/industrial/transport

Protection status
National None International None 3000 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) XERSONISOS GRAMVOUSAS KAI NISIDES IMERI KAI AGRIA GRAMVOUSA, PONTIKONISI(GR4340017).

An important site for raptors associated with sea cliffs, and seabirds.

Conservation issues
The recent opening of an access road is likely to lead to increased tourism, building and hunting. The area is a candidate SAC.
