Site Description
An inaccessible area of gorges and sea cliffs, dominated by scrub. Human activities include livestock-farming and limited arable agriculture.

National Partial International None 650ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Stenies- M. Ag. Nikolaou/Androu, 650ha). 1,700ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Steno Kothiou, 1,700ha). 470ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Refuge (Kolympar- Zagarniari/Palaiopoleas- Pitrofou- Messarias, 470ha). 250ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Reserve (Synetiou/Synetiou-Androu, 250ha).

The site is important for raptors and species associated with cliffs and scrub.
