Site Description
A small coastal lagoon with a reedbed ( Phragmites ). In the summer the lagoon almost dries up.

31 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) SAMOS: ALΥKΙ PSILIS AMMOY(GR4120007).

This is an important site for wintering and passage waterbirds.
