Site Description
A group of small islands east of Lesvos in the north-east Aegean. Human activities include stock-raising, fishing and tourism.

Habitats: Coastline/rocky areas (Sea cliffs and rocky shores), Shrubland (Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)
Land use: agriculture, fisheries/aquaculture
|

Protection status
National None International None 190 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) NISIDES LESVOU (SYMPLEGMA TOMARONISION, KIDONAS, AGIOS GEORGIOS, GLARONISI, KLP)(GR4110009).

The site is important for breeding coastal species.
