Site Description
A group of small islands east of Lesvos in the north-east Aegean. Human activities include stock-raising, fishing and tourism.

Habitats: Coastline/rocky areas (Sea cliffs and rocky shores), Shrubland (Sclerophyllous scrub, garrigue and maquis)

Land use: agriculture, fisheries/aquaculture

190 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) NISIDES LESVOU (SYMPLEGMA TOMARONISION, KIDONAS, AGIOS GEORGIOS, GLARONISI, KLP)(GR4110009).
