Site Description
The islets are approximately 300m from the shore and are vegetated with phrygana. The main human activities are water-sports and angling.

125 ha of the IBA are covered by Special Protection Area (SPA) NISIDES KAI VRACHONISIDES LIMNOU: NHSOS SERGITSI KAI NISIDES DIAVATES, KOMPIO, KASTRIA, TIGANI, KARVALAS, PRASONISI(GR4110008).
